London: Cheryl Cole has managed to impress bosses at Sky 1 and is set to be offered a lucrative deal with the channel to host a chat show starting next year.
The Girls Aloud member has steered clear of TV after being bumped off the American ‘X Factor,’ which was her first TV work, the
Daily Express reported.
According to reports, her manager will.i.am is keen for her to return to TV.
Cole became an overnight sensation when she first appeared on the ‘X Factor’ with Australian singer Dannii Minogue.
“Sky1 are desperate to get Cheryl to sign up,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
“They’ve been in talks for a while and believe they will have wrapped up the deal within the next month.”
“On the X Factor she found it easy to connect with people and viewers loved her for it,” source close to the singer said.
