Cheryl Cole ‘turns down Simon Cowell’s Britain’s Got Talent offer’

London: Cheryl Cole has reportedly taken sweet revenge on her mentor Simon Cowell for sacking her from the US ‘X Factor’ by turning down his offer to be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.

The ‘Girls Aloud’ babe was lined up for a role on BGT after comic Michael McIntyre quit the show this week.

“There’s no way she will do Britain’s Got Talent. She thinks it’s all a massive joke,” the Sun quoted one pal, who confirmed she still has a bee in her bonnet, as saying.

Cowell has been desperate to patch things up with Cole, who since her abject return from the U.S. has been staying with her ‘Girls Aloud’ pop bandmate Kimberley Walsh.

He is also terrified the BBC is poised to snap her up for its planned ‘X Factor’ rival ‘The Voice’ — due to air next year.
