Christine Bleakley faces 70pc pay cut to host next series of ‘Dancing On Ice’

London: Christine Bleakley will face a 70 percent pay cut if she intends to stay with ` Dancing On Ice` next year.

The former ` Daybreak` presenter was earning about 40,000 pounds per show, which is a huge 400,000 pounds for the 10-week run, as part of her 4-million-pound contract.

The 34-year-old actress` three-year golden handcuffs deal, which was drawn up when she was hosting the breakfast show alongside Adrian Chiles, runs out this summer.

The ITV bosses will be free to offer her a much reduced rate, which is expected to be about 12,000 pounds for each one-hour show, the Mirror reported.

A source told the publication that Bleakley, who is engaged to footballer Frank Lampard, has been paid an awful lot for not very much in recent times and this time the pendulum will swing back in our favour.
