Cole to take elocution lessons for USA’s ‘X Factor’

London: Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole is to have elocution lessons before she makes her appearance on America’s ‘X Factor’.

Simon Cowell, 51, is reportedly so concerned US viewers will not understand 27-year-old Cole’s accent that he has urged her to have special coaching. “They can’t afford to get this wrong. This is a big budget prime-time show so it’s important that bosses don’t cut any corners,” the Daily Star quoted a telly source as saying. “If no-one can understand Cheryl’s accent then there is really no point in her being there,” the source added.
