New Delhi: Popular Indian television show 'Comedy Nights Live' has been facing a series of hiccups lately. After the ouster of celebrity judge Mika Singh, it is now actress Upasana Singh who is unhappy with the makers of the show.

She recently alleged that the behaviour of 'Comedy Nights Live' team has been quite unpleasant and this is the reason why she left the show.

In order to defend his show, producer Vipul D Shah has now stepped forward. As per a NDTV report, he has said that it was difficult to fit in the character of 'bua' because the immediate recall is with the previous show.

"We didn't intentionally keep her away from the limelight or give her bad lines. It is just her selfish view. We respect all our artistes and I have great respect for her too. She has decided to quit and we wouldn't want to force her to stay," the report quoted him as saying.

He also told the media house that her pending dues will be cleared once she signs the contracts.
