‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’: When Lata Mangeshkar saw Kapil’s show

Mumbai: Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ is a huge hit among people across all age groups not just in India but overseas too. The star comedian has a number of fans and his show has innumerable followers. And one such follower is legendary singer Lata Mangeskhar. The veteran took to twitter and wrote, “Namaskar. Maine sunday ko kapil ka show dekha. Usme govinda aaye the. Govinda ji gaate hai mujhe maalum tha kyon ke maine unke saath ek film me duet gaya tha,par is episode me unhone jo gaana gaya wo kamal tha,bohot sur me aur acchi harkatein leke gaa rahe the,sunke mujhe bohot khushi hui,unki mataji bohot acchi singer thi,mujhe yaqeen hai ki wo jaha bhi hogi waha apne bete ka gana sunke unhe bohot khushi mili hogi. Main govinda ji ko badhaai aur shubh kaamnaien deti hun.” CNWK, which happens to be Kapil’s debut show as a producer has had a number of celebrities making their presence felt strongly. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has appeared twice on the show. Hrithik Roshan, Sunny Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan too have graced the show.
