Cowell booed by Britain’s Got Talent audience over Cheryl Cole sacking

London: Music mogul Simon Cowell was booed by the audience on Britain’s Got Talent over his sacking of Cheryl Cole.

The first of a week of BGT finals was the first time Cowell, 51, had been seen in public since he dashed 27-year-old Cole’s dream of cracking America. “The gossip before the show was all about Cheryl and Simon. People were reading The Sun and saying, ‘Can you believe what he’s done to poor Cheryl?’” the Sun quoted a source in the audience as saying. “As soon as the warm-up guy said, ‘Simon is in the building,’ everyone suddenly started booing. People were saying, ‘That’s for Cheryl’,” the source added. ANI
