Melbourne: Actor Robert De Niro has been roped in to play jailed conman Bernie Madoff in new TV biopic.
The movie is based on New York Times reporter Diana Henriques` new book "The Wizard of Lies: Bernie Madoff and The Death of Trust", deadline.com reports.
Madoff is serving a 150-year prison term for stealing billions of dollars from wealthy clients such as John Malkovich, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, and ailing Zsa Zsa Gabor, reports smh.com.au.
