Washington: American soap-opera ‘Desperate Housewives’ is reportedly coming to an end in 2012 after its upcoming eighth season.
The series starring Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman follows the lives of a group of women.
ABC TV bosses are expected to officially announce this weekend about the end of the show, when they meet with members of the Television Critics Association in Beverly Hills.
The hit comedy drama was debuted in 2004 and became an instant success.
The eighth season of the show will premiere in the U.S on 25 September.
