Eva Longoria refutes `Desperate Housewives` feud rumours

Eva Longoria has vehemently denied rumours of a supposed rift with ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-star Teri Hatcher.

Washington: Eva Longoria has vehemently denied rumours of a supposed rift with ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-star Teri Hatcher.
The 37-year-old actress, while appearing on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ on Wednesday, insisted that the cast of the hit show all got along well. “We all get along,” Us magazine quoted her as saying on the show. “Everybody says that [we don’t],” she said. The 47-year-old’s name was conspicuously left off the cards attached to the parting gifts Longoria, 37, Marcia Cross, 50, Felicity Huffman, 49, and Vanessa Williams, 49, gave to their Desperate Housewives colleagues. “We gave the crew carry-on luggage that said, ‘Takes us with you in all of your journeys,’“ Longoria explained. On being asked by the host, if any of the original stars had been fired from the ABC hit, Longoria laughed. “Yes! I forgot about. . . Nicollette Sheridan. She didn’t get fired. She died on the show. I got along with her. Nicollette was fun. She was a fun chick.” Not fully convinced that the actresses are indeed friends, Letterman suggested they must be competitive for camera time. “Not really.” “It’s acting! It’s not football,” she added. ANI
