Los Angeles: Adult animated sitcom "Family Guy" has added "Saturday Night Live" star Kate McKinnon to its voice cast for the upcoming 14th season.

McKinnon, 31, will impart her voice to the character of Peter's sister, a professional female wrestler, who goes by the wrestling name Heavy Flow, the creative team said at Comic-Con, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The executive producers of the show revealed a list of upcoming guest stars, which included Ed O'Neill, Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Cosmos' Neil deGrasse Tyson and Fox Sports broadcaster Joe Buck.

Singer John Mellencamp will not just lend his voice, he will also be singing a song for the series, as told by the executive producers.

Other storylines expected for the upcoming season include an episode, in which Chris becomes a registered sex offender and another episode, where the gang discovers that Quagmire was once a Korean soap opera actor and travel to Korea to find the last episode of his series.

An entire act of one upcoming episode will take place inside Stewie's sleeping mind, when he has his first nightmare and becomes adamant to challenge his demons head-on.
The team also released a new trailer for the season, which will premiere from September 27, Sunday on Fox.
