London: Fox News chairman Roger Ailes has revealed that he hired Sarah Palin, not because of her political experience, but because she was hot and got good ratings. The 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate has been a frequent contributor to the conservative cable channel since signing a multi-year contract with the network in 2010. Meanwhile Palin has announced that she will not run for President in 2012 because her ‘family comes first.’ “After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for president of the United States,” she wrote in a letter sent to her supporters.
