Frieda to appear on the Indian television with Simi!

Mumbai: Indian gift to Hollywood, actress Frieda Pinto is flying back to the country to appear in Simi Garewal’s new chat show soon to come on the television. This is the first time when the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ will appear on the Indian television. Freida Pinto is currently based and working in Los Angeles. But she will be flying down for a quick visit to be on Simi Garewal`s new chat show ‘Simi Selects India`s Most Desirables’ tomorrow. Simi Garewal has had a popular celebrity chat show on television in the past ‘Rendezvous With Simi Garewal’ and the fans are highly anticipating to see the fresh season of her new show, which goes on air May this year. The dusky actress is currently busy shooting for her film ‘Immortals’ in LA. Talking to a daily, a source said, “Freida is currently in LA shooting for fantasy-action-drama ‘Immortals’ where she plays the role of the oracle priestess Phaedra. She has never appeared on an Indian chat show before. She agreed to come on the show after she heard the concept of the show from Simi.” The source also added that it was quite a casting coup for Simi to convince Freida. "Freida has a tight schedule in LA. She is flying down to the city today, will shoot for the show tomorrow and leave the same night for the USA. A lot of people have asked Freida to appear on an Indian TV show before, but the only time she gave TV bytes was in Goa for the screening of her film, ‘You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger’ directed by Woody Allen."
