Los Angeles: `Behind The Candelabra` won the best mini-series or motion picture made for television, while `Breaking Bad` was named the best TV drama at the 71st edition of the Golden Globe Awards here Sunday.

`Behind The Candelabra` narrates the last ten years in the life of pianist Liberace and a secret affair that he was involved in". Directed by Steven Soderbergh, it stars Michael Douglas, Matt Damon, Scott Bakula, Eric Zuckerman and Eddie Jemison

Crime drama `Breaking Bad` chronicles two years in the life of a struggling high school chemistry teacher, diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer and how he decides to turn to crime.

The show`s lead actor Bryan Cranston walked away with the best performance by an actor in a television series - drama trophy at the ceremony.

Actress Elizabeth Moss of the `Top of the Lake` fame was named the winner of the best performance by an actress in a mini-series or a motion picture made for television and Jacqueline Bisset walked away with the best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a series, mini-series or motion picture for `Dancing on the Edge`.
