Gordon-Levitt, Dave Grohl to guest star on 'The Muppets'
Dave Grohl and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will star in 'The Muppets'
Los Angeles: Foo fighters frontman Dave Grohl and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt will guest-star on TV comedy series, "The Muppets".
The December 1 episode will welcome Gordon-Levitt and Grohl for the episode "Going, Going, Gonzo", reported Entertainment Weekly.
Gordon-Levitt and Grohl will each play themselves; the former will find himself involved in poker night with Scooter, Pepe, and the "cool" gang, while the latter challenges Animal to a drum-off.
Interestingly, both guest stars are already embedded in the Henson world. Grohl appeared in the 2011 feature film as "Animool", a knock-off of Animal in the depressingly fake Moopets, while Gordon-Levitt is set to produce and star in the upcoming "Fraggle Rock" movie.
"The Muppets" airs on ABC.
