The DC series has teased comic fans with references to Ferris Airlines - which originated in Green Lantern - but there are no plans for a live-action appearance from the Emerald Crusader, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Warner Bros and DC Comics announced a Green Lantern Corps movie at this year's Comic-Con, which may have put paid to the character featuring on "Arrow".
"They announced the Green Lantern Corps movie, and I'd be surprised if it didn't include Hal Jordan," said Marc Guggenheim, executive producer on "Arrow" and co-writer on the 2011 "Green Lantern" movie. "It would be great... But I doubt it very much."
