New York: Estranged couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony got back together to plug their new joint TV project in California.
`Q’ Viva,’ a 12-episode series in which Lopez and Anthony travel 21 countries to find the talent for a massive Latin music and culture concert, premieres Jan. 28 on Univision.
“We have a great time working together,” the New York daily News quoted the latino star as telling TV critics.
Lopez and Anthony, in conjunction with Jamie King and Simon Fuller, launched the series before they announced last July that they were getting a divorce, but it has since continued.
Far from trying to pretend their split didn’t happen, the video promotion for the show flashes pictures of the two over the line, “What could bring them back together?”
The two sat next to each other on a small stage on Saturday.
They looked comfortable and exchanged one private moment when Anthony glanced down at the pop queen’s left hand, then took it and started examining her rings.
When the room noticed, she held up her hand and said, “Four stars.” Anthony smiled.
Anthony called ‘Q’ Viva’ a “passion project” that will show the breadth of Latino culture.
