Los Angeles: Actor Kevin Bacon is all set to get back into the shoes of Valentine "Val" McKee for the TV reboot of his 1990 film "Tremors".
The 57-year-old actor is also serving as the executive producer of the series reboot with Andrew Miller penning the adaptation, reported Aceshowbiz.
Bacon posted a throwback photo on Twitter of him and his wife Kyra Sedgwick on the set of 1990's "Tremors" breaking the news of him joining the TV adaptation.
"Me and @kyrasedgwick 9 months pregnant 26 years ago on the #Tremors set. Might be time to head back to Perfection," he captioned the picture.
Universal Cable Productions and Blumhouse Productions are developing the series reboot based on the original 1990 film about giant man-eating worms.
The movie was followed by a TV spin-off called "Tremors: The Series" starring Michael Gross which aired for one season in 2003.
