King to appear in TV series

Stephen King will make an appearance in `Sons of Anrachy.`

Los Angeles: Stephen King is all set to hit the small screen by making an appearance in TV series `Sons of Anrachy.`King, who writes on contemporary horror, suspense, science fiction and fantasy fiction has sold more than 350 million copies.

`Sons of Anarchy` is an American television drama series created by Kurt Sutter which revolved around a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club operating in fictional town Charming. The 62-year-old author will make a special appearance on the third episode of the series when the biker drama returns for a third season his September. He will play a quiet loner who appears in character Gemma`s (Katey Sagal) time of need. The producers learned that King was a fan of the drama, so they reached out to the author for a possible cameo.
