Mumbai: Turns out that Upasana Singh – who played Pinky Bua – in Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ teamed up with the star comedian immediately after quitting Krushna Abhishek’s ‘Comedy Nights Live’.
The actress was reportedly approached by Sharma’s team the minute she departed from CNL. Now, we will see her making an entry in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ soon.
According to a report in DNA, Upasana said, “I got a call from Kapil’s team as soon as I quit the show. But it took some time because they had to work on the character.”
“Everybody was happy that I am back. It felt as though I was never away. I have worked with the team for almost two-and-a-half years and we are friends. They understand me. Even if I had stayed back, there were no issues,” DNA quoted Upasana as saying.
Interestingly, unlike Pinky bua, who was unmarried and desperate to tie the knot, Twinkle (Upasana’s character in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’) will be married. Actor Naseem Vicky will be essaying the role of her husband in the show.
