Kutcher to play Internet billionaire with broken heart on ‘Two and a Half Men’

Washington: Ashton Kutcher, who replaced Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’, will be playing the role of an “internet billionaire with a broken heart” in the new series.

The 33-year-old American actor will be playing Walden Schmidt in the new season of the hit show, which will air on US network CBS this September, the Daily Mail reported.

The highest rated sitcom on US television drew in a colossal 16 million viewers in its past season with Charlie Sheen, but with Kutcher as his replacement, the presence of Sheen is doubtful.

While the other two cast members Jon Cryer and Angus T Jones have been retained for the new season, Nina Tassler, Entertainment President refused to “confirm or deny” rumours regarding killing Sheen’s character Charlie Harper.
