Lindsay Lohan pokes fun at her own troubles on SNL
Los Angeles: Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is back with a bang hosting an episode of Saturday Night Live poking fun at her years of personal and professional missteps.
The 25-year-old star`s stint on the comedy show this weekend earned praise and she may be back for a second act, reported People magazine.
Throughout the show, Lohan made fun of her troubles, including charges stemming from the USD 2,500 theft of a necklace.
She addressed her checkered past right off the bat. "Wait, so the alarm goes off if I leave the stage?" she said, referring to her house arrest while sirens sounded as she stepped off.
Cast members made cameos to share their well-wishes? But also jokingly made sure Lohan was sober and in control. "She`s clean," announced Kristen Wiig after awkwardly frisking the actress post-hug.
Even Jimmy Fallon popped by to encourage the `Mean Girls` star. "If you can`t [host], Jon Hamm`s on backup," he noted as the `Mad Men` star appeared in the audience.
The ratings of the episode has been good as Lohan has outshined past hosts like Alec Baldwin, Emma Stone, Melissa McCarthy and even Jimmy Fallon.
