Lionel Richie replaced by John Legend on talent hunt

London: Singer Lionel Richie has been replaced by John Legend in the upcoming talent show `Duets`. Richie, 62, who is a name to reckon with in Soul and R&B music, vacated the spot due to a scheduling conflict, reported a website.

The show will be aired on ABC this summer and will have Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke alongside Legend.

"The series is a one-of a kind singing competition that takes the Superstars out from behind the judges` panel and onto the stage. Clarkson, Legend, Nettles and Thicke individually set out on a journey across America looking for undiscovered talent worthy of being their duet partner," the official synopsis for the show reads.
