Liz Hurley shoots in sub-zero set of ‘Gossip Girl’

London: Elizabeth Hurley’s character Diane Payne has returned for another season of the hit series ‘Gossip Girl’. Australian cricketer Shane Warne’s fiancee, looked at home on the New York set in between takes looking chic in a pink dress, black coat and nude platform heels, on Monday.

But while she pulled off the appearance of effortless glamour in character as villainous Payne, Hurley tweeted that she was freezing in -2C temperatures. “It’s minus 2 but in Gossip Girl land my character wears bare legs, 6 inch heels and a summer coat. Gotta love exterior scenes. Brrrrr,” a leading daily has quoted her as tweeting. “Uggs, hand warmers and an arctic coat waiting in the wings, luckily,” she added. The former Estee Lauder spokesperson was filming an outdoor scene with Blake Lively, who was luckily styled in thick opaque tights, gloves and a scarf for the scene, and kept warm in Ugg boots as she waited for the cameras to roll. Blake, 24, looked fashionable in her head-to-toe black ensemble, brogue shoes and colourful accessories. The 46-year-old actress also kept an eye on the assembled photographers who captured the star-studded cast filming their scenes. “No-that’s not the film crew, it’s the paparazzi filming the film crew,” she tweeted, posting a picture of the group.
