Los Angeles: Final seven episodes of critically-acclaimed TV series 'Mad Men' will kick off April 5.
The show will soon take a bow after eight years of run. AMC announced at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, California, reported Aceshowbiz.
The final season is split into two parts, each consisting of seven episodes with the second half called 'The End of an Era'.
AMC president Charlie Collier said, "It is impossible to overstate the impact it has had on AMC, and I would argue, this era of television.
"What an incredible journey this has been," executive producer Matthew Weiner stated. "I take great pride in what the entire Mad Men team was able to create episode after episode, season after season. We sincerely thank the fans for joining us on this ride and hope it has meant as much to them as it has to us."
