New Delhi: Navjot Singh Sidhu – one of the key faces in comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show' may be bidding farewell to the popular show soon, reports claim.

The cricketer who turned to TV shows has been the part of Kapil Sharma's comedy shows for a long time now. However, his new stint at Aam Aadmi Party has rendered him to leave the show due to responsibilities on the work front, according to a report in India.com.

Singh recently resigned from Rajya Sabha following his nomination to the upper house by Modi government.

It is believed that he will no longer be able to be a part of the silver screen because of his political responsibilities at AAP. Sources reveal that he might be the main face in the assembly elections next year. He will reportedly also be the chief campaigner in the Punjab elections next year.
