No time for `The X Factor`, says pop star Fergie

London: Pop star Fergie has ruled out pulling up a seat on the panel of America`s `The X Factor` as she doesn`t have the time to focus on the show.

The Black Eyed Peas singer is reportedly one of music mogul Simon Cowell`s favourites to become a judge on the second season of his TV talent show, reported Daily Express.

"It`s kind of funny why this keeps coming up about ‘The X Factor’. I mean, I love Simon and I love the show. It`s just that last year, nor this year, do I have the time to commit to that sort of commitment because I would be somebody who would really throw myself into it, as I do with all my projects.

"It`s just not fair to the contestants and their careers - that`s their career - to not be full in. I know there were talks last season and this season... Simon said before that
timing is everything and it`s not the right time for me." Fergie said.

Pop diva Britney Spears is also reported to be in the running for a judging job after Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were axed following the series` first run.
