Oprah Winfrey first to interview Whitney Houston’s daughter

Washington: Oprah Winfrey interviewed Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina on Friday for a special episode of her show ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ which will screen on her OWN network.

Winfrey, 58, also spoke to Houston’s sister-in-law and manager Patricia and the late singer’s brother Gary for the one-hour special which will air on Sunday, March 11 at 9:00pm ET, OWN said in a press release.

The special will show 18-year-old Kristina sharing “personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered,” Fox News reported.

“The family also addresses the rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death,” OWN revealed.

Houston, 48, was found dead on February 11 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles after a longtime battle with drug and alcohol abuse.

She reportedly consumed a mix of Xanax, Valium and alcohol before her death, although an official cause of death has not yet been released.
