Los Angeles: Filming on the final season of 'Parks and Recreation' wrapped, with its stars documenting the occasion on Twitter.

Adam Scott, Chris Pratt and Nick Offerman were among the show's cast who waved goodbye to the NBC comedy through a series of tweets and photos, sharing behind-the-scenes pictures with fans, reported E! online.

Pratt said "Lots of years, lots of tears, lots of love, lots of gratitude. #thanksparkscrew", while Aubrey Plaza wrote: "Last day. Goodbye Pawnee. You are all the loves of my life. I hate goodbyes."

Offerman simply wrote "#ThankYouParksCrew", as Billy Eichner tweeted: "My last day on Parks & Rec. I can't imagine a funnier, lovelier, more welcoming group of people. It's been a privilege. I will miss Pawnee."

Last month it was revealed that Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones would return for 'Parks and Recreation's final season, after the duo exited their roles as Chris Traeger and Ann Perkins in season six.

'Parks and Recreation' premiered in 2009, and will conclude next year on NBC after seven seasons on the air.
