Melbourne: Piers Morgan has revealed that he is quitting ‘America’s Got Talent’ as judge after being on the TV show for six years.
Morgan, 46, made the announcement on his CNN chat show, saying that he wanted to focus on a “huge year”, which will include the 2012 US presidential election and ahead of that, the Republican presidential nominee race.
The British talk show host wished his colleagues on the NBC talent show well, the Herald Sun reported.
Morgan has served as a judge since the show’s debut in 2006.
