Pruitt Taylor Vince joins 'Heroes Reborn' cast

Los Angeles: "Heroes Reborn" has added "The Walking Dead" actor Pruitt Taylor Vince to its expanding cast list.

Vince, who had a supporting role as Otis in the AMC zombie drama, will have a recurring role in NBC's upcoming event series, reported Deadline. The series is expected to launch in the autumn, and will be centred around a new group of people with superpowers, following on from the original hit drama that ran from 2006 to 2010.

Meanwhile, "Jersey Boys" star Francesca Eastwood has also landed a part in the series. Jack Coleman will reprise his role as Noah Bennett from the original series, while there will be new characters played by Zachary Levi, Gatlin Green and Ryan Guzman.

Vince has also had recurring roles in "True Blood" and "The Mentalist" in recent years.
