Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan is one of the few stars who is always punctual but he got late for a ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) event Wednesday and promptly apologised to media persons for coming late.
"I am extremely sorry for coming late. I started from home at 10 a.m. but due to the traffic, I reached one-and-a-half hour late. I am extremely sorry for this," Big B told reporters at the KBC event.
The first season of KBC started in 2000 on Star Plus and after four seasons, the show shifted to Sony last year and now the sixth season of the game show is ready to go on air on Sony from sep 7.
To be hosted by Big B, it will be a weekend show and will be aired at 8.30 p.m.
The 69-year-old, who joined the social networking website Fcebook Tuesday, says his page has received one million likes.
"I heard about Facebook that it`s a medium to connect with people but I didn`t know how to use it. I first started using blog, then people told me about Twitter and I understood that.
"I was not able to understand Facebook then I gave permission to open my Facebook account. And we got 1 million likes. I don`t know whether it`s good or bad."
