RiRi’s ‘f--- off’ shoes offend during UK ‘X Factor’ performance

Melbourne: Rihanna wore shoes smeared with offensive language live on the UK’s ‘The X Factor’ on Sunday.

According to the Sun, the Barbadian singer shocked the studio audience with the words ‘f--- off’ written on her footwear on the show, which was broadcast in a family-friendly timeslot.

Rihanna, 23, had been asked to tone it down after her raunchy act from last year’s final, which she tricked show bosses by wearing a prim plaid dress, except for the shoes.

Fans in the front row of the studio gasped and pointed at her shoes.

“They should have known she’d do something like that,” the Herald Sun quoted one of the fans Tamzin Lewis as saying.

Apart from the rude shoes, the performance saw her lurching around and flashing her stocking tops.
