Mumbai: RJ Malishka today became the latest contestant to get evicted from the celebrity dance reality show `Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7`.
Malishka, who had entered as a wild-card contestant, said she had a memorable journey of one month on the show.
"It was a journey of everything for me, be it in terms of making friends, learning new dance forms, making fun or giving a twist to the show. I didn`t realise that I spent five weeks on the show," Malishka told reporters.
The Mumbai-based radio-jockey and her choreographer partner Dibankar were pitted against Kiku Sharda in the bottom two of the show. Malishka said that she got nervous the moment her name was announced for the face-off.
"I worked really hard to be on the show for longer. We used to practise nine hours every day. I was confident throughout, but the moment my name was announced I got nervous and could not perform well," Malishka said.
Malishka also feels that wild-card contestants have a lesser chance of winning the show, but claimed that the other mid-week participant, Tara Jean Popowich, may prove that notion wrong.
"Wild-card contestants always have less chances of winning the show because they don`t get enough time to connect with the audience, who have already created their favourite contestant.
But I feel Tara may change this notion because she is really a strong and versatile dancer," she said.
Apart from her regular radio-jockeying, Malishka said she would continue dancing and keep an eye out for other reality shows.
"I will continue to dance as it has given a shape to my body. I would participate on other shows as well. Next season, I would love to return to Jhalak as a host and not a participant. I feel I am the perfect host for it," Malishka said.
