Ryan Seacrest to return as host of `American Idol` season 14

Los Angeles: Ryan Seacrest is all set to take the centerstage again as the host of hit singing reality series `American Idol` when it returns for its 14th season.

The TV personality has inked a deal with the FOX to return as the host of the long-time singing competition and will announce his participation at the network`s presentation on May 12, said The Hollywood Reporter.eacrest`s contract spans two years. While the show is yet to get a season 15 renewal, Seacrest has been given an option to return to the job by then. The renewal of `American Idol` was revealed when Seacrest announced during the show that season 14 audition was officially open. Season 13`s judging panel, which includes Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr and Keith Urban, are also rumoured to return next year, although an official announcement has yet to be made.
