Delhi: Its going to be Siddhuism non stop for two months on TV. BJP has finally given its nod to cricketer-turned-MP Navjot Singh Sidhu to participate in popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.

The cricketer confirmed the news to a leading daily and admitted that he was extremely excited about his new stint on TV. Sidhu, who has appeared in several comedy shows as a judge felt that the ‘Bigg Boss’ house was full of negativity and he would try to bring in a positive approach in the house. The cricketer also added that the viewers would get to see a different side of Sidhu in the show.

When questioned if his participation for Punjab assembly polls would be hampered due to the show, Sidhu said the election dates would not coincide with the show.

Upbeat and positive about his stint inside the house, he maintained that he would be able to handle the other inmates well. “Nineteen years as a cricketer, eight years as a politician…I think I have a good experience,” said Sidhu. “I have been exhibiting different traits in all my pursuits. Those who have seen me playing had a different perception about me. As an orator I am in a different mode and as a comedy show judge people have seen my funny side. But for ‘Bigg Boss’, I will be in the real spirit of Sidhuism,” added the cricketer.
