Simon Cowell to launch new cookery talent show ‘to oust MasterChef’

London: Simon Cowell is all set to launch a new cookery TV talent show to compete with the BBC hit ‘MasterChef.’

The programme, based on a show the ‘X Factor’ guru watched in Australia, will have contestants working in a high-pressure environment to impress a panel of four celebrity judges.

“I believe it will be a ratings winner, which will oust MasterChef,” the Mirror quoted Cowell as saying.

The showbiz mogul wants to challenge ‘Masterchef’ with Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
