Los Angeles: The David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson-starrer cult supernatural drama 'The X-Files' is getting a reboot.
Fox TV group chairman Gary Newman today confirmed that the network is in talks for a new installment of Chris Carter's drama.
Later, Fox TV Group chairman Dana Walden said that the conversations so far have been only logistical, looking at windows when the key X-Files players, creator Carter and stars Duchovny and Anderson, are available, reported Deadline.
The series was made into a film and fans have been hoping that it would get a reboot. Fox is also hoping to bring a limited series on '24'.
