New Delhi: Salman Khan – who has been the life of many award functions that he has attended till date - will not be a part of the much-awaited IIFA due to his back-to-back shooting schedules.
The ‘Dabangg’ actor is currently busy shooting for his home production ‘Mental’, which is already running behind schedule due to his ill health and the 2002 hit-and-run court appearances.
The Bollywood star took to Twitter to break this sad news to his over 43 lakh followers.
“Hi ! All good. Sure @iifa wld rock. Cld nt b thr cs shooting every day(sic),” Salman tweeted.
Salman has a number of movies in his kitty at the moment, which includes Sooraj Barjatya’s untitled next, Boney Kapoor’s ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ and ‘Kick’ opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.
On the other hand, a host of celebs including Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have already left for the prestigious award show.
Buzz has it that this year`s show will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut, Huma Qureshi, Jacqueline Fernandez, who have all already reached Macau for the 14th IIFA Awards.
Salman’s spot-on wittiness will surely be missed!
