Los Angeles: WWE wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson will star in a live-action movie ‘Rampage’, based on an '80s Midway Arcade game of the same name.

The film will reunite him with New Line and producer Beau Flynn ('San Andreas').

The scripting of the project is already completed and Johnson, 43, will start filming after he completes production on ‘Fast and Furious 8’, reported Deadline.

The plot of the film is still kept under wraps, but the game centres on a middle-aged man, a young woman, and an old man who mutate into a gorilla, a lizard, and a werewolf, respectively and wreak havoc on major cities and landmarks across North America.
