New Delhi: Even as tabloids eagerly look forward to Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s arrival in India for their grand Indian wedding, preparations surrounding the celebrations continue to make news.

And if the latest reports are to be believed then over 85 guests have been invited by the couple to attend their marriage in India. What’s more is that Perry wants her wedding to be a colour co-ordinated affair with everyone donning the same colour.

And this reports come amid news that the couple might not be getting hitched at the much speculated destination Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, where Brand had proposed Perry last year. As per sources, the duo will tie the knot at a secret destination in India.

Talking about the wedding a source said, “The wedding will be theme based and the guests would be wearing the same colour depending upon the theme. The only problem is nobody yet knows what colour."

Meanwhile, hotel sources at the Rambagh Palace deny any bookings by the two so far - and even online reservations show empty rooms on that day!

"We are not sure from where this news emerged. We have vacant rooms for the day when everyone says this marriage will take place," said a source in the hotel run by the Taj Group.

"Moreover, we in Rambagh Palace do not host formal wedding parties, though there are a few exceptions," said the source.

Even the online reservation of Rambagh Palace as of now shows vacant rooms from Oct 22 to Oct 26 after which, for a couple of days, the hotel is supposed to be booked for a conference.

"Either the dates are different or the venue is different or the couple is planning to get married alone," the source said.

Brand is also reported to be planning a double honeymoon for his wife - first travelling to the island group of Mauritius and then jetting off with the ‘Teenage Dreams’ hitmaker to the nearby Maldives. Incidentally, neither destination is far from India.
