90210`s Evan Ross joins `The Hunger Games: Mockingjay`

London: `90210` star Evan Ross has landed himself the role of Messalla in the third instalment of `The Hunger Games`.

The 25-year-old actor, who is the son of legendary singer Diana Ross, is slated to play Messalla in the `The Hunger Games: Mockingjay`, which is the final instalment of actress Jennifer Lawrence-starring fantasy adventure franchise. Ross` character is taken from American novelist Suzanne Collins`s `Hunger Games` novels in which he is a camera crew member who helps capture footage of `Katniss Everdeen` played by Lawrence. In the final two movies Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth leads the cast again. The two part films will begin production this year for release in November 2014 and November 2015, respectively. PTI
