New Delhi: Aamir Khan's 'PK' was one of the most anticipated movies of 2014, and the opening collections for the movie are a testimony to that.
The movie which opened to 4844 screens across the world on December 19, Friday earned Rs 26.6 crores, according to a leading trade analyst. This makes it the second highest non-holiday opener in Bollywood.
The critics have receieved the movie well, mostly with good reviews and the audience has also reacted positively to Aamir's latest offering. The word to mouth publicity may reflect well on its Box Office earnings worldwide.
The movie industry too took to social media to express their delight in this Aamir-Anushka starrer. There were many who touted Rajkumar Hirani as one of the best Bollywood filmmakers.

The movie which is a satire on godmen and religious fanatics has come a week before the Christmas weekend, and may pick up pace in the weekend without any other big releases to compete with. It only means one thing - Aamir's flick will keep the cash registers ringing!
