New Delhi: One of the most controversial films of the year gone by—'PK', starring actor Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles might have been opposed by several right-winged groups owing to hurt 'religious sentiments', but the film has been successful in minting money.
According to reports, 'PK' has managed to gross Rs Rs 264.82 crore domestically. The film which is still running in theatres across the globe might be eying to break Aamir's record of 'Dhoom: 3', which made a huge business of Rs 500 crore worldwide.
'PK' has so far irked several outfits, which resulted in cinema halls screening the movie getting vandalised, protests against the content of the film and the like. With such uproar over depiction of deities in this Aamir Khan starrer, it will be interesting to see whether such negative publicity compels the viewers to watch it at least once.
