Mumbai: Looks like 2012 is Akshay Kumar’s year. The hunk of an actor has struck a purple patch with his rowdy acts. Akki, who has been famous for performing dangerous stunts, has proved that action roles suit him the most.
With ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Akshay Kumar has emerged strong at the Box Office. Directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is raking in the moolah.
Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh can’t stop raving about the film’s performance. He took to Twitter to write, “#RowdyRathore is extraordinary. Seems undeterred by onslaught of new films. Collects 9.65 cr in Wknd 3, taking total to 124.15 cr nett(sic).”
‘Rowdy Rathore’ is touted to be Akki’s first biggest solo opening ever. The actor who has spent over two decades in the industry has for the first time stirred the Box Office.
His producer is a happy man and so are the distributors.
Looks like the audiences have fallen in love with Akshay’s rowdiest avatar!
