New Delhi: Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar hit the right chord with 'Baby'. Besides his dedicated fan following, it was the industry buddies who loved the movie as well. 'Baby', which talked about terrorism head-on, had Akki play an investigative officer.

'Baby' has reportedly raked in Rs 76.47 crore so far, and going by the steady numbers, it can be presumed that this Akki starrer will easily enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club soon. In order to share his happiness and excitement, the 47-year-old actor took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted: “It's celebration time for Team #Baby! Thank u for all the love & appreciation! This moment is only courtesy u guys”

'Baby' has been helmed by 'A Wednesday!' fame filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, who specialises in such a genre. The film was released on January 23, 2015 starring Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Rasheed Naz in supporting roles, besides Akshay Kumar in the lead.
