Los Angeles: The first trailer of "The Angry Birds Movie", a feature based on the mega-popular mobile game app, features some flightless birds with anger management problems.

The 2-minute-37-second promo explains why the birds are so angry and shows how they control their rage, reported Aceshowbiz.

The trailer gives first look of main character Red, voiced by Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad's speedy Chuck, Danny McBride's accident-prone and volatile Bomb and the presumably villainous pig Leonard, voiced by Bill Hader.

The film chronicles the story of an island populated entirely by flightless birds. When it is visited by mysterious green piggies, it is up to a group of unlikely outcasts, which includes Red, Chuck, and Bomb to figure out what the pigs are up to.

The animated comedy is slated to release on May 20, 2016.
