Anurag Basu breaks his silence on Katrina Kaif’s absence from the sets of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’

Anurag Basu broke his silence on Katrina Kaif’s absence from the sets of ‘Jagga Jasoos’, a film that has her former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

Mumbai: Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is getting delayed owing to a number of issues. Speculations were rife that Katrina Kaif wasn’t keen to work with her former boyfriend and hence the makers could resume shooting for the film.

But filmmaker Basu has rubbished rumours that have allegedly held Katrina responsible for the delay.

A report in Times of India, originally attributed to Pinkvilla.com suggests that the film is getting delayed because of a predetermined shooting schedule and Katrina has no role to play to drag the production of the big budget film.

Katrina, who is now shooting for Nitya Mehra’s ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ with Sidharth Malhotra, will resume ‘Jagga Jasoos’ shoot on March 6.

Until then, Ranbir will be shooting his portions.
