Mumbai: She made an impressive debut in ‘Dabangg’ (2010) and has since then become producers’ hot favourite! After romancing her mentor Salman Khan in her first film, Sona went on to work with biggies like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn.
Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’ will be Sonakshi’s first film with an actor of her age group. In the film, set in the 1950s, junior Shotgun will be sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh and her chemistry with the ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ star looks fabulous.
She has also been roped in by super-hit filmmaker Milan Luthria for ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again’, where she is will seen opposite Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan.
And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, the very beautiful actress has grabbed a project opposite ‘Aurangzeb’ hunk Arjun Kapoor. The film is believed to be a remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Okkadu’.
The film in question will go on floors in 2014.
“It (working with younger actors) hasn’t been a conscious move. As a newcomer, I got the opportunity to work with the biggest stars and I grabbed it, just as anyone else would. Back then, I used to say that there will be a time when I will work with others too, and that time has come now,” a daily quoted Sonakshi as saying.
