New Delhi: 'Dabangg' actor Salman Khan is known to play godfather to many aspiring actors in Bollywood. He has been the driving force for many young lads to enter the shining world of showbiz. This time it is actor Varun Dhawan, who has reportedly confessed about being inspired by the Khan of all seasons.
According to media reports, Varun was asked who inspired him for his upcoming venture 'Badlapur'. The 'Student Of The Year' actor was quick to say that it was Salman Khan's character of Radhe from the film 'Tere Naam' which gave him inspiration for 'Badlapur'.
He also added that as far as the entire dark, brooding look in the film is concerned—it was his elder brother Rohit Dhawan, who he took as a reference point. The full-on bearded appearance is what his brother sports in real life.
'Badlapur' is set to hit the screens on February 20, 2015.
